Technology has made it possible to simulate painted images using computer graphics software. I am thankful to have use of that tool, but I have spent years doing it the old fasioned way. Here is a small collection of some hand painted articles created over the last decade or so.

This painting was created with Didier Design for the Mayowood Christmas home show in 2004. It was incorrectly marked in price at a thrift store and the buyer lied that I had agreed to the price. (I was still on the phone as she did it! The shop only accepted part of the blame.) I was floored. This is the first instance of art theft that I have ever been involved with, but since it was done through a shop, it was legal. (Bad Karma is the thought that comes to my mind whenever I look at this piece now.) |
